The Midterm elections of 2026 are the most consequential in United States history. They represent the voice of the people. After two years of Trump policies, are the people happy? Or is a course correction needed? The outcome will determine the leadership and governmental structure of the future.
If Republicans win the Midterms, Trump wins the Midterms. Expect the chaos and cruelty to continue and ramp-up. Also, expect him to challenge his eligibility to run for re-election in 2028. He has NO respect for the Constitution and is already talking up the possibility.
If Democrats win the Midterms, they’ll tether Trump, force accountability for the war, release the Epstein files, and reverse some of the most harmful policies that will soon be enacted.
(That’s by design. Trump and Republicans’ One Big Beautiful/Ugly Bill is going to double and triple healthcare insurance premiums, enforce work requirements for food benefits, and continue to raise energy costs due to Trump’s catastrophic war decisions.)
